STEP 1 - CLEANSE (every morning and evening) Find a cleanser formulated for your skin type. Use a small amount of cleanser in your hand and emulsify with warm water. Then apply to the face with small circular motions, covering the entire face for 30 to 45 seconds. Use a damp face cloth or sponge to remove the cleanser from your skin, rinsing thoroughly with warm and then cold water. This will remove the dirt, pollution and impurities from the skin's surface in preparation for the next step.
STEP 2 - TONE (every morning and evening) Apply toner formulated for your skin type, over the entire face. Do not wash off. Toners are important in balancing the natural pH in the skin while infusing skin with natural vitamins and minerals to help you feel rejuvenated.
STEP 3 - EXFOLIATE (once or twice a week) Exfoliating the skin at least once or twice a week is important to help remove dead skin cells and dirt that can build up in your pores and dull your complexion. First cleanse the skin (Step 1). Then apply an exfoliant formulated for your skin type and allow to dry for 5-10 minutes or as directed. Moisten a face cloth with lukewarm water to gently scrub off using a circular motion. Thoroughly rinse with water and continue to Step 4.
STEP 4 - MASQUE (once or twice a week) Make sure to find a masque that is suited to your skin type that may include special conditions that you are treating. Emulsify a small amount of masque in the hand with a few drops of warm water and apply evenly over the face and neck. Allow masque to dry for 5-10 minutes or as directed. Moisten a face cloth with lukewarm water to gently scrub off the masque using small circular motions. Make sure to rinse thoroughly with water and continue to Step 5.
STEP 5 - TREAT (daily or as needed) Specific skin care concerns, such as lack of firmness, acne, or rosacea can be treated with a serum, booster-serum, concentrate or oils. Apply serum, concentrate or oil after toner in a thin layer and allow to dry.
STEP 6 - MOISTURIZE (every morning and evening) A moisturizer suited to your skin type should be used to hydrate and soften the skin. Even oily skin needs a light moisturizer to keep skin soft and supple. Apply moisturizer over the entire face and neck area and let dry. For a lighter application, emulsify a small amount in your hand with a few drops of water. For extra hydration, apply a thicker layer to the dry areas on your face.
STEP 7 - EYE CARE (every morning and evening) Apply a small amount of eye cream to the middle or ring finger and using a gentle tapping motion, apply to the contour area around the eyes, taking special care with the delicate skin around the eye.
STEP 8 - PROTECT (daily or as needed) Per instructions, apply Sun Defense Minerals to protect the skin.
STEP 9 - BODY CARE (daily or as needed) Apply sugar scrub to damp skin in a thin layer. Massage in a small circular motion onto legs, hands, arms, paying special attention to knees, elbows and feet or any additional area of the body that needs extra smoothing. Rinse well with warm water and gently pat dry. Finish up with a body lotion formulated for your skin type and massage into skin and allow to dry.
